Fraser Gallop Estate, established in 1999, is located in one of the worlds greatest premium wine-producing regions Margaret River, Western Australia. A structured and complex wine, the palate reflects the concentrated dry grown fruit with flavours of morello cherry, dark berry fruits and aniseed, enveloped in spicy, cedery and tight grained French oak. Ripe powdery tannins and fine acid give this wine structure and length.
Initially the palate has a distinct waxy creamy texture with flavours of custard apple, almond milk and honeysuckle. The mid palate shows some nuttiness with a wet slate and a flinty texture, which follows through to a citrusy acid finish.
The palate reveals juicy layers of blackberry, blackcurrant and mulberry wrapped around a core of cedary perfumed French oak.
