TASTING NOTES
Intensly fresh and crisp, with mouthfilling limey herbal flavours on the nose, moving to strong passionfruit woven together with a complex yeasty minerality on the back palate.
VITICULTURE
The premium producing area of Marlborough - Dog Point Road - produces consistently quality fruit ripened to perfection on the rich alluvial gravels of the Omaka River flats. Grown on vertical trellised established vines, the canopy captures every ray of available sunshine, with the added bonus of the warmth of the stones to assist in ripening. The vineyard management is second to none, displaying with the experience of the owners who have been in the business since the late 1970's on this property.
VINIFICATION
Bouldevines Sauvignon Blanc is blended from two distinct blocks within the estate. Both produce drastically different flavour profiles, so with this in mind the vines were treated differently to bring out those inherent characters. The result being a finished wine with aspects of each block providing the complexity and depth of palate.
